Rank and sub-element follow taxonomy/court_ranks/king.json, adopted as a convention and marked contested; the RWS King corresponds approximately to the Golden Dawn Knight. Waite's published meanings, checked against the Pictorial Key, are largely a gendered person-description . a dark man, countryman, generally married, honest and conscientious . with a note that the card always signifies honesty, and a forecastion of news of an unexpected heritage. UTT declines the person-description and the heritage claim, the latter on forecastion and schedule grounds. Waite's reversal is notably mild, good but severe, austere yet tolerant, which is materially lighter than the modern tyrant reading and is recorded here for that reason.
