Step one
What are you bringing to the cards?
Optional. Try an open question such as “What could help me approach today?” or “What should I consider before my next step?” You can also leave this blank.
Guests and free accounts receive readings composed from the UTT card library. With a Student subscription, AI interpretations send your question to the AI provider, even if an error leads to a fallback reading.
Step two
Choose a spread
New here? Start with Daily Focus for a one-card reflection. Each spread gives the cards a different job; choose one that fits what you want to explore.
Step three
Settings
One choice, and it changes the draw rather than the presentation.
Turn this on to include upside-down cards and their reversed meanings. Turn it off to keep every card upright.
Step four
The deck is shuffled
All seventy-eight cards have been shuffled. Their order is fixed before you choose a cut. The code below lets you check this after the reading.
……How to check the draw
Optional: copy the draw check code (the commitment) before cutting. When your reading is complete, open “Verify this draw” to check that the shuffle, cut and cards agree with it.
The seed is the starting value used to shuffle the deck. It stays private until the reading is complete so that unrevealed cards cannot be worked out in advance.

Step five
Cut the deck
Choose where to cut the deck. The order is already fixed. Your cut affects which cards appear and whether they are upright or upside down when reversed cards are included.
No cut chosen yet. Drag across the fan, or use the arrow keys.
You can confirm the cut only once for this reading.
Step six
Your reading
Turn the cards in any order, or turn them all at once.

What do you think this card means?
A one-card worked example
This is a fixed teaching example, not a personalized reading.
- Question
- What should I consider about a project I have started?
- Card
- Seven of Pentacles, upright.
- What you can see
- A figure leans on a tool beside a plant bearing pentacles.
- Meaning
- Take time to review work you have already done.
- Example interpretation
- Look at what you have finished so far. What is working, and what still needs attention? Use that information to decide what to do next.
The interpretation starts from what you can see, connects it to the card's meaning of reviewing work, and applies that meaning to the question about a project.
Describe one detail, connect it to your question, and end with something to consider. Optional practice challenge: aim for 100 words, or choose Skip writing and see the reading.

Compare the explanations.
Your first interpretation is kept above. Read the explanation below, then ask:
- Which part of the card meaning supports each explanation?
- How does the interpretation answer your question?
- Is there a claim about the future or someone else that the cards cannot establish?
This is a self-review, not an AI grade. More than one interpretation may fit.

Something you want to take further
A follow-up is answered from the cards already on the table. It will not re-read them differently, and it cannot forecast an outcome.
