The Sun in the first decan of Virgo follows the Golden Dawn attribution; Book T titles the card Prudence. Waite's published meanings, checked against the Pictorial Key, give work, employment, commission, craftsmanship and skill in craft and business, perhaps in the preparatory stage. UTT reads deliberate repetition, which follows the baseline closely with little narrowing. Waite's reversal gives voided ambition, vanity and usury, which this record does not carry, since the excess mode used here addresses the same territory without the moral charge.
